What drives you, what makes you happy?

In my seemingly endless endeavor to understand what reasons there are to continue life the only things I can come up with are: groundless, unsubstantial hope; and a pysiological drive and need to live and avoid death. Out of curiosity, what drives you besides the genetic predisposition to *want* to live. Existentially, we all want more and more and more and more. We want it all; however, most of us understand we can't have everything we want. Thus, we settle for as much as we can get and are still unhappy with our situation--generally. So, out of, again, curiosity, what are your goals in life; what makes you happy; what makes you want to live?
