Can I buy epic gems with honor on a BC account? (WoW)?

I'm on a burning crusade account and ive been tryig to get gems for my gear. I need gems like Cardinal Ruby, and King's Amber but I don't want to buy the overpriced ones in the auction house. I've heard you can buy them with honor in Dalaran but since I'm on a BC account I can't go there. So is there any other place I can buy these gems? If so, where? Thanks in advance
